Nilsiä Upper Secondary School

Nilsiä Upper Secondary School is a versatile educational establishment specializing in alpine and cross country skiing, floorball and golf. We are situated in the green area of Kuopio, by the beautiful lake Syväri, in close proximity to Tahko ski resort, which enables a close co-operation with businesses representing different fields of commerce in the area.  We offer our students, along with a high quality overall education, a wide selection of optional advanced and applied courses as well as a possibility for a high-level sports training. Our twinned schools in Vörå, Western Finland and Kirishi, Russia are some of our important partners that we highly value. We also receive German-speaking assistant teachers via Karlsruhe University of Education on a yearly basis.
